Inspiring A2 Key and B1 Preliminary posters to inspire students to create posters!
Cambridge Assessment English have created some inspiring posters for A2 Key and B1 Preliminary which I believe could inspire students to create their own posters.
Currently, there are three A2 Key Posters: Food, Our planet and Sport – available to download here:

And three posters for B1 Preliminary, on the themes of Space, Technology and Travel, available here:
https://assets.cambridgeenglish.org/schools/b1-preliminary-posters.pdf
There is also a booklet with accompanying classroom activities to use with the posters.
The A2 Key booklet is available for download here:

And the B1 Preliminary booklet here:
https://assets.cambridgeenglish.org/schools/lessonplans/lessonplans-b1.pdf
The posters are based on the A2 Key and B1 Preliminary wordlists.
And now for the creative part!
Inspired by the posters, I decided to create my own posters for A2 Key and A2 Key for Schools, on the topic of weather.
This first one, I made using my computer, some scissors and glue!
And the second one below, I used Canva to create. I haven’t managed to imitate the style of using half image, half text like the Cambridge posters, but I still quite like the result!
What do you think?
You could do the same with your students and get them to make posters for buildings, the countryside, towns and cities, etc.
I hope I’ve inspired you to try out this with your students!
