A positive first step into English
Pre-A1 Starters introduces young learners to everyday English in a simple and encouraging way.
Pre A1 Starters is the first stage in the Cambridge English Young Learners journey. It introduces children to everyday written and spoken English through familiar topics and age-appropriate tasks that develop Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking skills.
Learners begin working with simple instructions, short questions, basic vocabulary, spelling and everyday communication, while gradually becoming more comfortable using English in different situations.
On Teaching Together, you’ll find practical ideas, classroom activities and exam preparation tips to help learners understand the different tasks, build essential language skills and approach their first Cambridge English qualification with confidence.
