SUMMARY:9th ELT Conference
DESCRIPTION:I was delighted to be asked to give both a webinar and a plenary at the 9th ELT Conference\, organised by Exams Catalunya\, Exams Madrid and Exams Balears. \nUnfortunately\, the plenary on Saturday 19th\, which was meant to be face-to-face\, will have to be online\, due to the ongoing situation and level of COVID infections. I was so looking forward to being in the same room as teachers\, but we have to be responsible and do our little bit in these strange times. \nIn my webinar\, which will take place on Wednesday\, 16th February at 12 o’clock\, I’ll be taking a reading exam task and sharing some activities which will be useful for both approaching exam tasks\, as well as for developing real-life skills\, such as editing and presenting. \n \nIn the plenary on Saturday\, February 19th\, I’ll be considering Adaptability. \n\n \nThe full programme is available here.
